Provided is an engineering probiotic having surface display phenylalanine ammonia-lyase. The engineering probiotic knocks out a gene argR and/or undergoes a gene argA(Y19C) mutation on an Escherichia coli Nissle 1917 genome, and integrates an L-phenylalanine ammonia-lyase gene stlA, an L-phenylalanine intracellular transport protein gene pheP, an L-amino acid deaminase gene pma, and an efflux pump gene acrA. The engineering probiotic can be used for treating phenylketonuria. |
