abstract The present invention provides a dental composition that shows improved adhesion to both a dental restorative material such as a porcelain and dentin and that is suitable for suppressing changes in properties during storage. The present invention pertains to a dental composition that contains an organosilicon compound (A) represented by general formula (1). (1): Z-Xm-Y-SiR1 nR2 (3-n) (In the formula: Z represents a (meth)acryloyloxy group, a (meth)acrylamido group, a mercapto group or an epoxy group; X represents a divalent organic group in which the ratio of the total number of carbon atoms to the total number of oxygen atoms (C/O) is 1-3; Y represents a divalent hydrocarbon group having 1-30 carbon atoms; R1 represents a group selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group, an aryl group and an aralkyl group; R2 represents a hydroxyl group or a hydrolyzable group; m represents an integer of 1-8; and n represents 0, 1 or 2.
