abstract The present invention relates to a polyimide material and a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. The polyimide material prepared in the present invention has a structure represented by formula (I), wherein R is selected from the remaining groups after an amino end group is removed from a large-volume diamine having a relative molecular mass greater than 260 or an aromatic diamine having the number of benzene rings greater than 2; Ar is selected from the remaining groups after an oxygen end group is removed from the aliphatic dianhydride or the remaining groups after an oxygen end group is removed from aromatic dianhydride; m and n are each independently selected from a natural number from 100 to 300. The polyimide material prepared in the present invention has excellent solvent resistance, thermal stability and a high glass transition temperature and light transmittance, and a low phase difference and thermal expansion coefficient.
