The invention is related to an aqueous bio-based energy-curable polyurethane composition comprising at least one ethylenically unsaturated polyurethane pre- polymer (A) obtained from the reaction of at least one aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic polyisocyanate compound (Ai), at least one hydrophilic compound (Aii) containing at least one reactive group capable to react with an isocyanate and which is capable to render the polyurethane pre-polymer dispersible in an aqueous medium either directly or after the reaction with an organic or inorganic neutralizing agent to provide a salt therefrom, at least one ethylenically unsaturated compound (Aiii), containing essentially one reactive group capable to react with an isocyanate, at least one ethylenically unsaturated compound (Aiv), containing at least two reactive groups capable to react with an isocyanate. |
