titleOfInvention System and method for detecting medical conditions
abstract A method of detecting the presence or absence of a particular medical condition for a patient. The method comprises acquiring at least one image of an area of interest of the patient's body and identifying a first region of interest within the at least one acquired image corresponding to a first anatomical structure of interest and a second region of interest within the at least one acquired image corresponding to a second anatomical structure of interest. The method further comprises evaluating the first and second regions of interest, detecting the presence or absence of the medical condition based on the evaluation of the first and second regions of interest, and generating an electrical signal indicative of the detected presence or absence of the medical condition.
