The present disclosure refers to a non-invasive method for determining a pressure gradient for a cardiovascular narrowing of a subject, comprising, in a data processing device having one or more processors: providing geometric data indicative for an orifice area of a cardio- vascular narrowing of a subject; providing flow data indicative for a flow rate of a blood flow through the cardiovascular narrowing of the subject; and determining a pressure gradient for the cardiovascular narrowing according to an equation PG = c * AVA α * Q β , wherein PG is the pressure gradient for the cardiovascular narrowing, AVA is the orifice area of a cardio- vascular narrowing, Q is the flow rate of the blood flow through the cardiovascular narrowing, and c, α, and β are constants, wherein the constants c, α, and β are determined by training a non-linear regression model based on a set of training data. Further, a computer program product is provided. |
