titleOfInvention Method for screening sperm chromatin condensation inhibitor targeting histone 3 ubiquitination of phf7
abstract Disclosed is a method for screening a sperm chromatin condensation inhibitor which targets histone 3 ubiquitination of PHF7. Being able to inhibit PHF7 E3 ubiquitin ligase activity for histone H3K14, the material identified by the method according to the present application interferes with the stabilization of BRDT without influencing the transcription regulation function of BRDT, to decrease the concentration thereof, with the consequent effective inhibition of the function of eliminating histone. The material identified through this mechanism accounting for the specific inhibition of PHF7 can be advantageously used as a male contraceptive.
