abstract The present invention addresses the problem of conveniently acquiring a large amount of a cardiomyocyte cell mass within a short period of time from single-celled cardiomyocytes with the use of neither a special medium component nor a container having a complicated shape, nor a micro size container. This problem can be solved by a method for producing a cardiomyocyte cell mass, said method being characterized by comprising allowing single-celled cardiomyocytes to flow in an acyclic container under suspension conditions and thus inducing the aggregation of the cells together. Also, the aforesaid problem can be solved by a method for producing a cardiomyocyte cell mass, said method being characterized in that the single-celled cardiomyocytes have a history of stabilization culture after thawing.
