Provided are: a gas-barrier resin composition that has sufficient long-run properties and high gas barrier properties comparable to a fossil fuel-derived raw material while using a biomass-derived raw material; a multilayer structure using said gas-barrier resin composition; and a method for producing said gas-barrier resin composition. This gas-barrier resin composition contains one or more saponified ethylene-vinyl ester copolymers, wherein a portion of ethylene and vinyl ester, which are raw materials of the one or more saponified ethylene-vinyl ester copolymers, is derived from biomass, and the remainder is derived from a fossil fuel. |
