abstract | Provided is a cell treatment device that is capable of detecting a target cell using a learned model, and treating the detected target cell. This cell treatment device is used in the treatment of cells, and comprises an observation unit, a laser irradiation unit, and a control unit. The observation unit is capable of imaging a cell within a cell culturing tool. The laser irradiation unit is capable of irradiating the inside of the cell culturing tool with a laser. The control unit comprises a detection part, an irradiation region setting part, and a laser irradiation control part. From image data including the cell that was imaged by the observation unit and a learned model which is capable of detecting a target cell or a non-target cell, the detection part detects a target cell or a non-target cell in the image data. The irradiation region setting part sets a region where the target cell exists or a region where no non-target cell exists as a region for laser irradiation by the laser irradiation unit. The laser irradiation control part irradiates the laser irradiation region in the cell culturing tool with the laser, by means of the laser irradiation unit, so as to treat the target cell. |
