The present invention relates to controlled release microspheres containing a glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) agonist, and a method for producing same, and more particularly, to microspheres comprising a GLP-1 receptor agonist and composed of a biocompatible polymer, and a method for producing same. The microspheres comprising a GLP-1 receptor agonist sodium salt according to the present invention exhibit a stable drug release rate for a long period of time such that the GLP-1 receptor agonist can be maintained at an effective concentration in the blood for a certain period of time, thereby extending an administration period of a drug, increasing a patient's compliance with medication, and reducing side effects caused by rapid initial release of a drug. |
