titleOfInvention Method for preparing cationic polyacrylamide flocculant
abstract Disclosed is a method for preparing a cationic polyacrylamide flocculant. The method has the following steps: adding a DAC aqueous solution with a mass fraction of 80%, AM and distilled water to a four-neck flask equipped with a stirrer and a thermometer, uniformly mixing same, introducing nitrogen to evacuate air from the system, heating same in a water bath to 54-58°C, adding a tert-butyl hydrogen peroxide initiator and sodium pyrosulfite, continuing to introduce nitrogen for 2-4 h, carrying out a polymerization reaction under closed conditions for 8-10 h, then removing a colloid, soaking same with acetone for 25-27 h, then soaking same with absolute ethanol for 25-27 h, drying a white solid in a vacuum drying oven at 50-60°C for 5-7 h, and drying and crushing same to obtain the flocculant. The method is simple, convenient, quick and easy to operate, and the prepared cationic polyacrylamide flocculant has a high removal rate in terms of wastewater turbidity and can be prepared on a large scale.
