abstract The present invention relates to a composition for healing wounds, the composition containing, as an active ingredient, Treg cell-conditioned media obtained by culturing regulatory T cells (Treg cells) and then centrifuging same. The Treg cell-conditioned media according to the present invention contains various cytokines, such as IL-6, IL-8, or IL-13, and growth factors, dose-dependently reduces the expression of E-cadherin, which is a marker protein identifying epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) which necessarily occurs during cell migration to promote EMT, thus giving the cells the ability to migrate and increasing keratinocyte migration without affecting cell proliferation, and increases the expression and release of matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1), thus affecting cell migration and extracellular matrix decomposition. Thus, the composition containing the Treg cell-conditioned media as an active ingredient according to the present invention can be useful for healing wounds, as well as for soothing sensitive skin and alleviating atopic dermatitis through wound-healing.
