abstract A self-luminous display device which includes a wavelength-selective absorption filter containing a resin and a dye including dyes A, B, and C below, and which comprises a light-emitting diode as a light emission source, wherein the wavelength-selective absorption filter satisfies expression (I); and a self-luminous display device in which the wavelength-selective absorption filter includes a specific gas barrier layer disposed directly on at least one surface of the wavelength-selective absorption filter. Dye A: a dye having a main absorption wavelength band of 390-435 nm. Dye B: a dye having a main wavelength absorption band of 500-520 nm. Dye C: a dye having a main wavelength absorption band of 580-620 nm. Expression (I): Tmin(500-520) – Tmin(580-620) > 0% (where Tmin(500-520) is the lowest transmittance (%) in a wavelength range of 500-520 nm, and Tmin(580-620) is the lowest transmittance (%) in a wavelength range of 580-620 nm.
