abstract A microfluidic cartridge for detecting a Dengue antigen and an antibody to the Dengue virus includes a microfluidic channel network including a sample application zone and first and second separate analysis channels. A blood-based liquid sample is applied to the application zone and a first portion enters the first analysis channel and a second portion enters the second analysis channel. The first and second portions of sample have the same concentration of antigen and antibody. The presence and/or amount of the antigen and virus are respectively determined from the first and second portions of sample.
