abstract |
In an asbestos sample preparation method for conducting an asbestos analysis on a raw material sample (13) which potentially contains asbestos, the raw material sample (13) is mixed with a liquid (2) in a sample receiving container (1) in order to decompose asbestos fibers. The raw material sample (13) is subjected to a processing method (4) in which the raw material sample (13) is suspended in the liquid. A magnet stirrer (20) for carrying out an asbestos sample preparation method comprises a motor-driven rotor with a rotational axis and at least one magnet (21) which is secured to the rotor and comprises a south pole (21a) and a north pole (21b). The magnet stirrer (20) comprises at least one container receiving area (25) which is eccentric to the rotational axis, wherein a connection line between the south pole (21a) and the north pole (21b) intersects the rotational axis. |
