abstract | The present invention relates to a benzotriazole-based compound which improves the light resistance of a highly refractive episulfide-based optical material, a composition for an episulfide-based optical material, comprising same, and an optical material. The present invention provides a composition for an episulfide-based optical material, the composition comprising an episulfide compound represented by chemical formula 1, a benzotriazole-based compound represented by chemical formula 2, and a polymerization catalyst. The benzotriazole-based compound of chemical formula 2 addresses the problem of deterioration in light resistance that occurs in optical lenses of a highly refractive episulfide-based optical material and the like, and can improve the transparency of lenses. In the present invention, by comprising a small amount of the benzotriazole-based compound in the composition for an episulfide-based optical material, an episulfide-based optical material having good light resistance and transparency can be obtained. |
