abstract A computer-assisted spermatozoon assessment method comprising the steps of feeding spermatozoon related digital data into a computerized spermatozoon assessment stage and automatically generating by the computerized spermatozoon assessment stage a spermatozoon assessment signal in response to the spermatozoon related data is suggested wherein a sequence of digital images for each spermatozoon to be assessed is fed into the computerized spermatozoon assessment stage as sperm related digital data and both single spermatozoon motility and single spermatozoon morphology are assessed by the computerized assessment stage in view of the sequence of digital images for generating the spermatozoon assessment signal.
