The invention relates to a device for dispensing a liquid ophthalmic product with a removable container. The device comprises an electric motor, an electric energy source for powering the motor, a spray nozzle (2), a pump which is operated by the motor and configured to pump and to pressurise a liquid ophthalmic product from a container. The device comprises an energy storage device suitable for releasing, in the pump or downstream of the pump, power to the liquid ophthalmic product. The product pressurised by the pump is supplied to the nozzle, and is dispensed in vaporised form, i.e. in the form of a spray. The device of the invention makes it possible for the user to dispense an ophthalmic product with a simple gesture, and without discomfort. It can be used for dispensing most liquid ophthalmic products, including viscous products, in doses of comparable volume to the volumes dispensed by conventional drip bottles. |
