Disclosed is a kit for automatically detecting and extinguishing fires, for urban recycling container and similar, which comprises an automatic extinguisher (11) with a sprinkler (7) and a fire detector (13) which are incorporated into a housing (5) that can be attached to a container (1) as a compact accessory element, being secured inside the container (1) on the wall or ceiling. The extinguisher (11) is a 3 kg bottle of polyvalent powder having a pressure of 15 kg/cm2 and rated 13A/89B, and the sprinkler (7), provided with protection (8), is a sprinkler (7) regulated to activate at 68ºC. The fire detector (13) is an autonomous device having a 9 V battery with a two-year life, and a 95 dB acoustic system. The fire detector (13) is sized to couple to the base of the extinguisher bottle (11). |
