abstract A method for generating an orthodontic teeth arrangement shape for teeth straightening is disclosed. The method for generating an orthodontic teeth arrangement shape comprises the steps of: acquiring teeth shape information about a user; extracting a specific point of each tooth within a preset range from the upper jaw and/or the lower jaw of the user on the basis of the acquired teeth shape information; projecting the extracted specific point of each tooth onto a reference plane; comparing, to a user arch form in which specific points are connected, to a plurality of standard arch forms stored in a database; selecting a standard arch form that is most similar to the user arch form from among the stored plurality of standard arch forms on the basis of the comparison result; and generating an orthodontic teeth arrangement shape on the basis of the selected standard arch form.
