| abstract | Provided in the present invention are a method for sharing data and an electronic terminal. The electronic terminal is provided with an antenna array having the ability to measure the angles of nearby devices and form beams. A user can obtain direction information of nearby devices when sharing data with the nearby devices, such that the user can, in combination with the direction information, select a receiving device or the electronic terminal to find nearby devices in a direction specified by the user. The user also can find nearby devices in the specified direction. The present invention can enable the user to use the direction information to distinguish nearby devices in the process of using an electronic device to share data with the nearby devices, thereby improving the speed and convenience of the user in selecting a receiving device, and improving the degree of satisfaction of the user. |
