The coffee silver skin extract, the fraction thereof, the compound isolated therefrom and having the structure of chemical formula 1, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound has no cytotoxicity, and has an excellent effect on the activity of anti-myostatin, and thus may be useful as a composition for preventing, treating, or alleviating muscle disease that is caused by muscle hypofunction, loss of muscle mass, muscle atrophy, muscle consumption, or muscle degeneration. |
