abstract In the present invention, a fine periodic structure to which mesenchymal stem cells, osteoblast cells, and osteoblast precursor cells adhere through focal adhesion is provided to a bone embedding site in the body. The focal adhesion exhibits, in the bone matrix formation stage, a specific configuration depending on the period interval of the fine periodic structure. When the period interval of the fine periodic structure is at least a prescribed period interval, bone alignment can occur along with the fine periodic structure, and if the period interval of the fine periodic structure is less than the prescribed interval, bone alignment can occur perpendicularly with respect to the fine periodic structure.
