abstract | Provided are: a vinyl chloride resin composition that has excellent kneadability when prepared by melt-kneading or the like to include an acrylic block copolymer and that has improved thermal aging resistance, migration resistance, fogging resistance, electrical properties, and printability without losing the excellent pliability, low temperature characteristics, and resistance to whitening when bent of conventional vinyl chloride resin compositions, and, in particular, soft vinyl chloride resin compositions; and a molded article that comprises the vinyl chloride resin composition. A vinyl chloride resin composition that contains a vinyl chloride resin (A), an acrylic block copolymer (B) that includes polymer blocks (b1) that comprise acrylic acid ester units and polymer blocks (b2) that comprise methacrylic acid ester units, and a gelling promoter (C), the weight average molecular weight of the acrylic block copolymer (B) being 100,000–250,000, the polymer block (b2) content of the acrylic block copolymer (B) being 10–25 mass%, and there being 20–150 parts by mass of the acrylic block copolymer (B) and 4–18 parts by mass of the gelling promoter (C) per 100 parts by mass of the vinyl chloride resin (A). |
