The present invention is a powder dispersant for a hydraulic composition, the powder dispersant containing a copolymer obtained by polymerizing raw material monomers, including a prescribed monomer 1 that includes AO groups in an added molar number n within a prescribed range, and a prescribed monomer 2 having a prescribed group such as a carboxylate group, wherein the proportion of monomer 2 within the raw material monomers is at least 22 mass%, and the product of the value of n in monomer 1 and the mass% value of the abovementioned proportion is 420-2600 (inclusive). |
