Provided are a laminate production method and a transfer film which, in addition to having excellent scratch resistant properties, also has a photosensitive composition layer and can form a pattern having an excellent edge shape. The transfer film has a temporary support body and a photosensitive composition layer, said photosensitive composition layer comprising a photopolymerization initiator, an alkali soluble resin, and a polymerizable compound, and the photopolymerization initiator comprises a first photopolymerization initiator and a second photopolymerization initiator. The molar absorption coefficient ε1 of the first photopolymerization initiator at a wavelength of 365 nm is 500 L/mol∙cm or more, and the ratio of the molar absorption coefficient ε2 of the second photopolymerization initiator at a wavelength of 365 nm to the molar absorption coefficient ε3 of the second photopolymerization initiator at a wavelength of 313 nm is no more than 0.200. |
