titleOfInvention | Mouth guard |
abstract | The present invention relates to a mouth guard having a novel structure, whereby the teeth of a user are more effectively protected while enabling texture to be more effectively felt when chewing food, and which is more firmly fixed to the teeth. The mouth guard, according to the present invention, comprises: a plurality of fixing members (10) formed from a hard material and supporting teeth (1) by coupling to the teeth (1); and connection members (20) formed from a synthetic resin material that is softer than the fixing member (10) material, and are each provided between the fixing members (10) so as to mutually connect the fixing members (10), wherein, in a state where the fixing members (10) are coupled to the teeth (1) of a user, the fixing members (10) are connected so that same may be fluid with respect to each other by means of the connection members (20), and thus an advantage is achieved of effectively protecting the teeth (1) of the user while enabling the texture of food to be effectively transferred to the teeth (1) when the user is chewing the food. Especially, sugar and acid, produced as a result of food combining with saliva when ingesting the food, are prevented from contacting the teeth, and food particles are effectively prevented from being stuck in the interdental area or between the interdental area and the gums, and thus an advantage is achieved of enabling the prevention of various dental diseases, such as cavities, caused thereby. |
