The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sunscreen cosmetic having exceptional usability and little burden on the skin simultaneously with being capable of achieving high UV protection power, even when a small amount of UV protection agent is used, by improving the UV protection power of the UV protection agent. The sunscreen cosmetic according to the present invention is characterized by containing the following components (A)-(C), specifically (A) a UV protection agent, (B) silica having a particle size of 0.3-1 μm, and (C) a powder having a particle size of 1-30 μm, and moreover is characterized in that the (C) powder is one or more selected from the group consisting of silica, starch aluminum octenyl succinate, cellulose or a derivative thereof, waxes, mica, sericite, and biodegradable resins. |
