Fabric, and cable cover for robot arm |
abstract |
In order to provide a fabric that has low frictional properties and can exhibit long-term slidability even after receiving high-speed frictional force under high load, this fabric is characterized in that a composite yarn of fluorine resin fibers A and fibers B other than fluorine resin fibers is used as at least a warp yarn or a weft yarn, the mass ratio α of the fluorine resin fibers A in the composite yarn is 5–70%, and the ratio of the area proportion X of the fluorine resin fibers at the surface of the fabric to the mass ratio Y of the fluorine resin fibers in the fabric is at least 1 and no more than 5. This fabric can be usefully used in a cable cover for a robot arm. |
