titleOfInvention | Thermoplastic polyurethane having improved melt elasticity |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for producing a thermoplastic polyurethane having improved, lower melt elasticity. The method comprises the method steps: a) producing a mixture of a partial quantity of hexamethylene diisocyanate and the total quantity of butanediol; b) mixing the mixture produced in method step a) with an oligomerisate output partial flow obtained from method step e); bringing the mixture from method step b) to reaction; d) subdividing the reaction mixture obtained in step c) into two output partial flows; e) returning an output partial flow from method step d) as an input partial flow for the mixture in method step b); f) mixing the remaining quantity of hexamethylene diisocyanate with the remaining output partial flow from method step d); and g) allowing the mixture obtained in method step f) to react in order to obtain a thermoplastic polyurethane. The invention also relates to a thermoplastic polyurethane which is obtainable by reacting 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) with 1,4-butanediol (BDO), wherein the polyurethane has, at a complex module G* of 10 4 Pa, a phase angle of greater than or equal to 65° and less than or equal to 75°, determined according to ISO 6721-10:2015. |
