abstract |
A protective coating suitable for a wind turbine blade is described, the protective coating comprising a thermoset polymer and a fibrous macromolecule, wherein at least part of the thermoset polymer is bonded to the at least part of the fibrous macromolecule via chemical bonds. In addition, a protective coating suitable for a wind turbine blade is described, the protective coating being obtainable by a reaction between a polymer precursor having a first functional group and a fibrous macromolecule having a second functional group, such that chemical bonds between the first and the second functional groups are formed, as well as a method for producing the same and a wind turbine blade comprising the same. |
