An electronic device and a control method therefor are provided. The electronic device of the present disclosure comprises: a camera; a communication unit; and a processor for obtaining information about a skin condition of a user included in an image, on the basis of the image obtained via the camera, identifying, from among a plurality of skin care sources, a skin care course on the basis of the obtained skin condition and a device specification of a skin care device communicably connected to the electronic device via the communication unit, and controlling the communication unit to transmit information about the identified skin care course to the skin care device. |
