A polycarbonate/polyorganosiloxane copolymer which is produced using a diol monomer (a1) and a polyorganosiloxane (a2) that satisfy the following requirement and which comprises a polyorganosiloxane block (A-1) including specific repeating units and a polycarbonate block (A-2) composed of specific repeating units. When the diol monomer (a1) and the polyorganosiloxane (a2) are used in the same proportion as in producing the polycarbonate/polyorganosiloxane copolymer and are kept in contact with a carbonic diester and a basic catalyst at 100-250°C for 0.5-5 hours, the resultant mixture has a haze, as measured in accordance with ISO 14782:1999 under the conditions of 23°C and an optical path length of 10 mm, of 30 or less. |
