titleOfInvention | Silicone particle and method for producing same |
abstract | The present invention is a silicone particle that contains a dialkylsiloxane unit represented by general formula (1): R4 2SiO2/2. (In formula (1), the R4 moieties are each independently a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1-6 carbon atoms.). The silicone particle also contains a poly(alkyleneoxyalkyl)methylsiloxane unit represented by general formula (2) (in formula (2), the R1 moieties are each independently a hydrogen atom or a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1-6 carbon atoms, and the R2 moieties are each independently a divalent aliphatic group having 1-6 carbon atoms, and n is a number that satisfies the relationship 1 ≤ n ≤ 20.) An oxyalkylene group is present at the surface of the silicone particle. Provided by this configuration is a hydrophilic group-containing silicone particle that can be easily dispersed in an aqueous material without using a dispersing agent or a surfactant. |
