titleOfInvention Absorbent article
abstract This absorbent article (1) comprises an absorbent body (3) and an exterior body (2). The exterior body (2) includes an outer layer sheet (22), an inner layer sheet (23), and a plurality of elastic members (24) therebetween. The exterior body (2) has a waist elastic region (G1) and a lower elastic region (G2). In the exterior body (2), the outer layer sheet (22) and inner layer sheet (23) are connected at connecting portions (26) which are intermittently formed along the lateral direction Y. The exterior body (2) has unconnected portions (25) between the connecting portions (26) along the lateral direction Y where the outer layer sheet (22) and inner layer sheet (23) are not connected throughout the vertical direction (X). The outer layer sheet (22) is formed so as to deform expanding toward the non-skin facing side due to contraction of the elastic members (24) such that a plurality of folds is formed along the vertical direction X. The waist elastic region (G1) has a connection strength that is lower than that of the lower elastic region (G2).
