abstract |
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an aqueous coating composition which has a relatively high solid content ratio and is capable of forming a coating film that has excellent luster. The present invention provides an aqueous coating composition which contains (A) a water-dispersible hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin, (B) a scale-like photoluminescent pigment and (C) a water-dispersible cellulose-based viscosity regulator, wherein: the content of the scale-like photoluminescent pigment (B) is within the range of from 1 part by mass to 50 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the resin solid content in the aqueous coating composition; and the solid content in the aqueous coating composition is more than 10% by mass but 35% by mass or less. |
