This brain organoid, which has a phosphorylated 3-repeat tau protein and a phosphorylated 4-repeat tau protein, can be produced by a brain organoid production method including a step 1 for performing floating culture on human pluripotent stem cells having mutations in at least one of nucleic acid sequences of an exon selected from the group consisting of exon 9, exon 10, exon 11, exon 12, and exon 13, and at least one of nucleic acid sequences of intron 10 of a microtubule associated protein tau (MAPT) gene. |
