abstract |
The present invention concerns a method for identifying and quantifying oxidation precursors in a petroleum matrix comprising the following steps: 1. Adding to the petroleum matrix at least one compound comprising a nitrone function, for example DMPO (2,2-dimethyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyrrole-1-oxide), PBN (alpha-phenyl N-tert-butyl-nitrone), DEPMPO (5-(diethoxyphosphoryl)-5-methyl-1-pyrroline N-oxide), EMPO (5-ethoxycarbonyl-5-methyl-1-pyrroline-N-oxide), AMPO (5-carbamoyl-5-methyl-1-pyrroline-N-oxide); 2. Analysing the mixture obtained in step 1 by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR); 3. Determining the nature and the concentration of the oxidation precursors. |
