Disclosed are: an apparatus and a method for diagnosing a combustion condition on the basis of spontaneous flame emission spectroscopy, the apparatus and the method being capable of diagnosing a combustion condition and measuring a fuel concentration by analyzing the spectral characteristics of spontaneous flame emission generated by a combustion reaction; and a recording medium. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for diagnosing a combustion condition on the basis of spontaneous flame emission spectroscopy includes a spontaneous flame emission analysis unit for analyzing the spectral characteristics of spontaneous flame emission generated by a combustion reaction and measuring the amount of fuel on the basis of the analyzed spectral characteristics of spontaneous flame emission.
