The present invention is a wipe material which comprises a nonwoven fabric and an aqueous composition that is supported by the nonwoven fabric, wherein: the aqueous composition contains (a) a cationic surfactant, (b) an inorganic salt that is composed of a cation of a group 1 or group 2 element of the periodic table and an anion, with at least one of the cation and the anion being a divalent ion, (c) a nonionic surfactant and water; and the molar ratio of the content of divalent ions based on the component (b) to the content of the component (a) in the aqueous composition, namely (content of divalent ions)/(content of component (a)) is from 0.4 to 40. |
