abstract Provided is a conductive member that, even after electricity is pass therethrough for a long period of time, does not show degradation or change in hardness of rubber therein. This conductive member has a support medium having a conductive outer surface and a conductive layer disposed on said surface of the support medium, wherein: the conductive layer comprises a matrix containing a crosslink product of a first rubber and a plurality of domains dispersed in said matrix; the respective domains contain conductive particles and a crosslink product of a second rubber; the matrix has a volume resistivity R1 of more than 1.0×1012 Ω∙cm; the domains have a volume resistivity R2 that is lower than the volume resistivity R1 of the matrix; the conductive layer is further provided with holes; inner walls of the holes are formed with part of the matrix and part of the domains; the domains constituting said inner wall protrude into the holes at multiple locations of the inner wall.
