abstract | This light irradiation device is provided with: a hollow shaft having an elongated outer shape; and an optical fiber stored inside the hollow shaft and emitting light from a distal end surface, the optical fiber having a curved portion which directs the distal end surface in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the hollow shaft. The distal end surface of the optical fiber is exposed to the outside from the outer circumferential surface of the hollow shaft or is in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the hollow shaft, and does not protrude to the outside beyond the outer circumferential surface of the hollow shaft. |
