abstract |
A method for determining an age of a haematoma in a subject, the method comprising: receiving a captured digital image of at least a haematoma in skin of the subject; analysing the digital image to determine a colour in a first area in the haematoma; determining a haemoglobin concentration in the first area and a bilirubin concentration in the first area based on comparing the colour in the first area with one or more simulated colours; and determining the age of the haematoma from the haemoglobin concentration and the bilirubin concentration. |
