The present invention relates to a method for detecting and amplifying a target nucleic acid by converting the same into a universal code having a single, specific sequence. According to the present invention, the target nucleic acid can be detected, or a detection signal can be amplified, by a nonenzymatic reaction, and various target nucleic acids can be converted/unified into a pre-designated universal code, thus obviating the need to newly design a probe for each target nucleic acid. Therefore, the method can be effectively applied to a detection system having a complex structure. |
