abstract This display medium is provided with: a base material having first and second surfaces; and a reflection layer provided to at least one of the first and second surfaces of the base material, wherein the base material is provided with a polarized light separation layer capable of reflecting circularly polarized light of one rotational direction DA while transmitting circularly polarized light of the opposite rotational direction, the reflection layer includes a first reflective pigment capable of reflecting circularly polarized light of one rotational direction DBR while transmitting circularly polarized light of the opposite rotational direction and a second reflective pigment capable of reflecting circularly polarized light of one rotational direction DBL while transmitting circularly polarized light of the opposite rotational direction, the rotational direction DBR of the circularly polarized light reflected by the first reflective pigment and the rotational direction DBL of the circularly polarized light reflected by the second reflective pigment are opposite to each other, and the hue of the circularly polarized light reflected by the first reflective pigment and the hue of the circularly polarized light reflected by the second reflective pigment are different from each other.
