[Problem] To provide an endoscope that makes it difficult for fluorescence acquisition to be blocked by a liquid. [Solution] An endoscope 2 comprises an excitation light source 22a for emitting excitation light, an objective lens L1 for receiving fluorescence produced as a result of the reception of the excitation light by a sentinel lymph node SLN, and a cylindrical body 244 for holding the objective lens L1. The objective lens L1 is disposed inside the cylindrical body 244 within a central portion of the cylindrical body 244 (for example, given a length L of the cylindrical body, a region between L/3 and 2L/3 from the end of the cylindrical body 244 on the sentinel lymph node SLN side). Additionally, the endoscope 2 comprises a collimating lens L3 for collimating the excitation light. |
