abstract |
An immunogenic peptide fragment of metalloproteinase ADAMTS-7 and an application thereof in resisting against atherosclerosis and related diseases. Provided is a short peptide, comprising any one of the following: a short peptide of which the amino acid sequence shown in sequence 1 in a sequence listing; a short peptide of which the amino acid sequence is shown in sequence 2 in the sequence listing; a short peptide of which the amino acid sequence is shown in sequence 3 in the sequence listing; and a short peptide of which the amino acid sequence is shown in sequence 4 in the sequence listing. Also provided are a conjugate containing the short peptide, a vaccine containing the conjugate and an application thereof. The vaccine containing the short peptide may significantly inhibit neointima in vascular restenosis mouse models and atherosclerosis in high-fat fed mice, and may be used to prevent or treat atherosclerosis and/or vascular restenosis. |
