abstract | Disclosed are an irradiation-crosslinked polyethylene insulation master batch resistant to light attenuation by a UV LED, a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The raw materials of the master batch include a matrix resin, a specific photo-initiator, a specific photo-initiation aid, a transparency enhancement agent and a specific multifunctionality crosslinking aid, wherein the matrix resin is composed of a linear low-density polyethylene resin, a styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer, a light-transmitting resin, and a polyolefin elastomer POE and/or an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer. The preparation thereof involves mixing the linear low-density polyethylene resin, the styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer, the photo-initiator, the photo-initiation aid, and the multifunctionality crosslinking aid to prepare a premix, then mixing same with the remaining raw materials, and subjecting same to extrusion molding. Also disclosed is the use thereof in the preparation of an irradiation-crosslinked polyethylene insulation material resistant to light attenuation by a UV LED. With regard to the master batch of the present invention, the insulation master batch of the present invention can be directly added to a conventional resin matrix for extrusion molding, which achieves the advantages of processing at a lower temperature and obtaining a sufficient degree of crosslinking. |
