The present invention relates to a chitosan-coated nanocapsule containing retinol or a retinol derivative, and a use thereof, and, more specifically, to a nanocapsule in which chitosan is coated on nanoparticles comprising Pluronic and retinol or a retinol derivative, and a use thereof. A method for preparing a nanocapsule having a particle size of 500 nm or less, particularly, 200 nm or less, and having excellent stability was established, and the nanocapsule in which chitosan is coated on nanoparticles comprising Pluronic and retinol or a retinol derivative was prepared through the established method. In addition, the antioxidant activity of the prepared nanocapsule was increased to be greater than that of retinol or a retinol derivative alone, it was confirmed that the antioxidant activity is maintained even in long-term storage, and it was confirmed that skin permeability also remarkably increases, and thus the nanocapsule in which chitosan is coated on nanoparticles comprising Pluronic and retinol or a retinol derivative, of the present invention, is expected to be usable in developing cosmetics for reducing wrinkles, or cosmetics or medicines for alleviating or treating acne, and be usable in cosmetics, the medicine field and the food industry, which require antioxidant efficacy. |
